 Honey is said to be one of the most natural foods there is and has remained virtually unchanged in its composition for thousands of years.
Our delicious, selected blossom and forest honeys are gently cold extracted. Due to the air tight and light proof tin packaging, color, aroma and the valuable ingredients keep their freshness for several months.

Blossom

Blossom honey is made from the nectar of flowers and blossoms. Bees collect it and produce the honey by a process of regurgitation. It is then transported from cell to cell until the nectar becomes honey. In accordance with the German Honey Regulation, honey may not contain more than 20 % water. In accordance with the even stricter quality regulations of the German Beekeepers Association, only 18 % water is permitted. Depending on the floral source, it can have quite distinctive aromas.

Forest Honey

On beautiful summer and early autumn days, the beekeepers
take their bees to the natural home of the bees, the forests, in order for them to make their harvest. For the production of forest honey, the bees don’t collect nectar from blossoms and flowers but from honeydew. Honeydew is based on an animal by-product. Forest honey is rich in minerals and popular due to its distinct flavor. With its resins and oils it may have a balsamic effect on the respiratory system.
